The is the definition of Vicarious from the Collins dictionary vicarious in British English ADJECTIVE 1.    obtained  or  undergone  at  second   hand  through  sympathetic  participation in another's  experiences Do you do any of the following? Reading about or watching others live your dreams instead of reaching them yourself. Spending lots of time on social media wishing you had what others have. Dictating what hobbies or interests your children or loved ones take part in. Encouraging others to take chances you won’t. Actively seek celebrity gossip. Binge watching reality TV. Becoming intensely interested in characters from television, movies, or books. If so, you are living vicariously.  Living vicariously through someone is not usually done on purpose. Limiting Beliefs Are you aware of your beliefs?  Do they allow you to grow?  Are you aware we all have self limiting beliefs, that can prevent us from achieving what we really are capable of achieving. The issue is that we do not know they are there, they are in our subconscious brain and become automatic and have been in there since we were young.  We develop our beliefs when we are young from our family (parents, grandparents), teachers and friends. They may be from being told "don't climb on there you will fall" "I do not have the time to do that" "I don't have the experience to do that" These beliefs are there to protect us and keep us in our comfort zone. A weekend of adventure and fun

  A weekend of adventure and fun. The last 2 weekends have been full of adventure, fun and challenge. Meeting lots of new people who have met over the last 2 years on Facebook in a group that offers the spirit of adventure. This weekend it definitely did. A few members from the group set off to Keswick to join the Festival of Light that was being held on Saturday night.  I arrived on the Friday night at the YHA in Keswick (definitely worth a stay), started with a chill before the rest of the group came back from having a meal and spent time getting to know each other. When they came back to the YHA, we had lots of chat and laughs, continuing to get to know each other.  Saturday plans We eventually went to sleep, I woke at 5.30am and got ready for a day of walking, we had an offer of paddleboarding or a walk around Derwent Water a 10 mile walk.
