New Beginnings

Late last year I was told about a post for a wellbeing and engagement manager post with Petrus by a friend of one of my sons.

He sent me the link for the post and I took a look at it, the role was part-time which was great, I could work alongside my coaching business and it would also allow me to support more people at risk of developing chronic illnesses by reducing anxiety and depression allowing them to transform their life.

Petrus is a charity that supports the homeless to change their life by allowing the clients to learn skills to  empower them to take control of their life.

I had my interview yesterday, which was my first interview in the last 12 months. Part of the interview was a presentation, which I prepared for and I was nervous but using the tools that I have learnt over the last few years the nerves were kept under control and I stayed calm. During the interview, I was honest and was true to myself.

After the interview, my mind started to go over how it had gone and some interesting emotions came up, which I had to deal with, using my tools again.

I think over the last few years I have learnt that pushing myself outside of my comfort zone allows me to grow, but I have also learnt that my mind can play tricks on me also.

Today I received the call to say that I have been offered the role, I became overwhelmed with emotion, knowing that I had been accepted for the post on my values and knowing that I will be supported in the role is a great relief.

I am so looking forward to this role, which will allow me to reach more individuals, so they can transform their life. and I will be able to work this role alongside my business to allow me to continue the support for women over the age of 35 who feel stuck, overwhelmed by emotions, stressed all the time and unfulfilled by life to find their best self, so they can learn to trust themselves without feeling they have to live their life to other peoples expectations.
